In the winter of 2007 Soho Pasos imported into New Zealand seven Paso Fino mares, one stallion and a gelding from the east coast of the United States. The herd arrived in good order and were soon in work and beginning their careers as pleasure riding horses. These horses were to be the foundation breeding stock for our operation.
Being such a sure footed breed they easily adapted to their new, rugged environment and the first mares were soon bred and four were confirmed in foal. In spring of 2008 we welcomed three fillies and a colt to our collection and to our great pleasure all demonstrated great quality and a superb natural gait.
Soho Pasos are now keenly awaiting the arrival of our 2010 foals a select few of which will be offered for sale.
